November 26th
Keep on top of your pool with regular water tests, remember that these are free to you. This is an easy way to regulate your pool. The temperatures are rising so it it is easy to have a clear pool one day then algae growing the next.
We hope to have our products for pools and spas online next week so you can check out prices.
Always here to answer your questions

Well the weather has dramatically changed and it is dry! For all those on water tanks keep a close eye on your water levels. Also with the warm weather make sure your water is safe to drink, check your filters and change if required. If uncertain ring Splash and we can check and do if needed.
Cheers from the Team

November Already!
Summer has crept up on us and the pool chemicals are racing out the door. For those that are still getting your pool ready remember we do free water tests and at the start of the season you may need to do 2 or 3 to get your pool sparkling.
Talk to Jeff or Dean if you are having trouble getting your pool sorted.
It has been dry the last month so be careful with water and watch those tanks if we dont get a decent rain soon.
We are here to help

September Tips
Spring Time is Party time!
As the water warms up in the spring take extra care with your pool sanitation. The cold water will have been suppressing any algae and bacterial growth in the water and as the temperatures warms up the bugs will come out to play.

Maintaining your pool throughout winter.
Once the winter pool cover goes on, it's easy to think you can just switch off. But actually, if you don't maintain your pool over winter the water can go green. You can also have chlorine problems, surface staining and equipment damage. These problems will cost you time and money.
This can be prevented by using our winter program and making the following preparations before you close your pool for winter:
1. Test your pool water, bring it in to us at Splash Water.
2. Vacuum and brush the walls of your pool.
3. Clean out the skimmer basket and the pump's hair/lint basket.
4. Backwash and clean the filter thoroughly with BioGuard® Filter Brite™.
5. Add a winter shock treatment such as BioGuard® Lite® or BioGuard® Salt Pool Sparkle®.
6. Protect the pool from algae with an algae inhibitor such as BioGuard® Back-Up® II.
7. Cover your pool to keep it debris free.
8. Don't forget to let the pump run for at least 6 hours per day over winter.
